Worship @ SDE

Worship is the heart of our community life at St David Emmanuel Shoreline.

Our regular weekly service is on Sundays @ 9:00 a.m. in our sanctuary.

As Christians in the Anglican/Episcopal tradition, our liturgy follows the Book of Common Prayer (1979), Rite I + II, with hymns from the 1982 Hymnal.

Immediately following worship, our community gathers for a coffee hour—where we share the joys and concerns of our everyday lives.

What to expect

We are a small, informal community of faith with ‘liturgical’ worship according to the Book of Common Prayer (1979).

Whether you’re a lifelong Episcopalian who’s memorized the liturgy or ‘spiritual but not religious’ and just interested in exploring Christianity, you are encouraged to dress comfortably and come as you are: with your questions and curiosities, faith and doubt, certainty and searching.

You and yours are welcome

We warmly welcome all of God’s children, no matter your age and stage of life.

While most of our congregation are retired empty nesters, kids of any age are welcome (just ask our pastor, who regularly brings his wiggly ones).

Our sanctuary + fellowship hall are fully ADA accessible. If you have any questions or concerns, just ask.
